Peters-Owusu Foundation Partners with TDSB to Support Students with Backpacks and School Supplies
Toronto, ON – [September 25, 2025] – This summer, the Peters-Owusu Foundation is proud to partner with the Toronto District School Board (TDSB) for their annual Backpack and School Supplies Drive, running from June through September. The initiative provides thousands of students across the Greater Toronto Area with the essential tools they need to begin the school year with confidence.
For many families, rising living costs and ongoing economic challenges make it difficult to afford even basic school supplies. A new backpack filled with notebooks, pencils, and other essentials not only supports learning but also ensures students feel a sense of dignity and belonging as they walk into class on the first day.
